LIGHTHOUSE TALENTS
Music ♫
Members interested in using their voices to glorify GOD may become choir members. Faithfulness in this ministry and the willingness to learn are more important than the ability to read notes. The latter ability shall be honed in practices as time goes by. There is also a Youth Choir and a choir for children called Lighthouse Psalters. Interested members who would like to join the choir may approach the choir director at any time.
Members may also serve in this ministry by joining the Lighthouse Chamber Orchestra, where weekly trainings and practices in playing different musical instruments, such as: viola, violin, cello, guitar, flute and French horn are conducted.
This ministry, however, is not limited to a few people, as interested members are continually encouraged to use their musical talents in giving glory to God. As with all the other ministries, faithfulness, willingness and availability are the foremost requirements to be involved in the music ministry.
Currently, the Lighthouse BBC has the following music ministries of which all members are encouraged to join: Main Choir, Lighthouse Psalters (Children’s music group), Ensemble for the Single working group, Youth Choir, and the Lighthouse Chamber Orchestra.
Lighthouse Theater
This ministry harnesses different talents in the church to stage plays that gives color and life to Biblical events and passages. In 2008, it successfully staged the musical play entitled “RISEN.”
