Lighthouse Bible Baptist Church

The Lighthouse Bible Baptist Church stands committed to obeying the three-fold elements of Christ’s command as found in Matt. 28:18-20, which is:

1.) Get people saved;
2.) Get the saved baptized; and
3.) Get the baptized doing the will and the work of God.

All of her ministries aim to fulfill these three elements. All of her efforts focus on proclaiming the Word of GOD and salvation to all men, baptize those who gladly received

Him, and indoctrinate the same into maturity and fruitfulness as Christians.

These three are not reversible nor can any one of them be taken out. All these three should be fulfilled by the New Testament Church, otherwise, she would cease to function as the Lord designed.

All of the ministries of the Lighthouse Bible Baptist Church are so designed to be complimentary to this three-fold commission, whether directly or indirectly, from the adults on down to the smallest child that attends

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
(Romans 12:1&2)

The LBBC believes that service is an integral part of being a Baptist. Through Christian service, a person demonstrates and reinforces his separation from worldly ways. At the same time, consistent Christian service indicates a reformed mindset, one that seeks to please GOD always. LBBC ministries are in place to allow Christians, in the spirit of humility, to find their places within the overall task of the New Testament Church – that of fulfilling the Great Commission.

For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.

Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;
Romans 12:3-6

The LBBC accomplishes the ministry of prophesying, i.e., proclaiming to people the Word of GOD, through its Sunday and mid-week Services. Members can contribute to this ministry by being involved in every endeavor.
